Oromoon, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Oromoon," "Company," "we," "us," or "our"), operates the website located at https://www.oromoon.com and the Oromoon mobile application (collectively, the "Platform"). The Platform provides cosmic intelligence services including birth chart analysis, astrological compatibility mapping, archetype profiling, planetary transit alerts, and related features (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy ("Policy") governs the collection, use, disclosure, retention, and protection of information we collect from and about users of the Platform ("Users," "you," or "your").
BY ACCESSING OR USING THE PLATFORM, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THIS POLICY IN ITS ENTIRETY. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, YOU MUST IMMEDIATELY CEASE USE OF THE PLATFORM.
This Policy should be read in conjunction with our Terms and Conditions, which are incorporated herein by reference. In the event of any conflict between this Policy and the Terms and Conditions with respect to privacy matters, this Policy shall control.
HIPAA NOTICE: The Platform is currently classified under the Lifestyle category on the Apple App Store and has previously appeared under the Health & Fitness category. This classification is for navigational purposes only. Oromoon is not a covered entity or business associate under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 ("HIPAA"). Astrological, cosmological, and archetype data collected through the Platform does not constitute protected health information ("PHI") as defined under HIPAA. Nothing in this Policy or in your use of the Platform creates a health care provider relationship or any obligations under HIPAA.
2.1 Registration Information
When you create an Account on the Platform, we collect the following:
Your date, time, and location of birth are used exclusively to generate your astrological birth chart, Archetype profile, and personalized cosmic insights. This data is treated as sensitive personal information and is subject to the heightened protections described in Section 2.9.
2.2 Star Files — Third-Party Profile Data
The Platform offers a feature called "Star Files" that allows you to create astrological profiles for individuals in your personal orbit, including but not limited to romantic partners, friends, family members, colleagues, and acquaintances ("Third-Party Profiles"). When you create a Third-Party Profile, you may provide us with:
By submitting information about third parties through Star Files, you represent and warrant that: (a) you have the authority to provide such information; (b) to the extent required by applicable law, you have obtained any necessary consent from the relevant third party; and (c) your use of such information complies with all applicable laws. Oromoon uses Third-Party Profile data solely to generate compatibility insights and astrological analyses for your personal use and does not use such data for any other purpose.
2.3 Derived and Inferred Data — Archetype Profiles
Based on your Registration Information, we generate derived data including your astrological birth chart, Sun sign, Moon sign, Rising sign, and Archetype profile (collectively, "Archetype Data"). Archetype Data is derived entirely from the birth information you provide and is used to personalize your experience on the Platform. We treat Archetype Data as sensitive personal information.
2.4 Compatibility Data
The Platform's compatibility features process your Archetype Data in conjunction with the Archetype Data of other Users or Third-Party Profiles you have created to generate compatibility analyses. Compatibility analyses are generated algorithmically and are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only. We do not represent that compatibility analyses constitute professional advice of any kind.
2.5 Geolocation Data — Getaway Feature
The Platform offers a "Getaway" feature that allows you to switch your location to discover cosmically aligned users in other cities or regions. When you use the Getaway feature, we collect your selected city or region and may use your device's geolocation data (subject to permissions you have granted) to facilitate this feature. You may disable geolocation access at any time through your device settings. Disabling geolocation may limit your ability to use certain features of the Platform.

When you access or use the Platform, we automatically collect:

If you use the Platform's messaging functionality, we collect and retain the content of messages you send and receive through the Platform. If you contact our customer support team, we retain records of such communications, including your email address, IP address, and the full content of your inquiry. We use this data to facilitate the messaging experience, resolve disputes, and improve our Services.
2.8 In-App Purchases
The Platform may offer in-app purchases from time to time. Payment processing is handled exclusively by Apple's App Store or other third-party payment processors. We do not store full payment card numbers or banking information. We retain transaction identifiers, purchase history, and associated metadata for account management, fraud prevention, and audit purposes. Current in-app purchase offerings are subject to change and are displayed within the Platform.
2.9 Sensitive Personal Information
The following categories of information we collect may constitute sensitive personal information under applicable law:

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your birth chart data, Archetype Data, spiritual preferences, or other sensitive personal information for targeted advertising.

4.1 Service Providers
We share your information with third-party vendors and service providers who perform services on our behalf, including cloud infrastructure, analytics, customer support, payment processing, and fraud detection. All such third parties are contractually obligated to use your information solely to perform services for Oromoon and to maintain confidentiality and security standards no less protective than those set forth in this Policy.
4.2 Other Users of the Platform
Certain information you provide — such as your name, photographs, Archetype profile, and general location — may be visible to other Users of the Platform in connection with compatibility features and discovery functionality. You control the information displayed on your profile and may update or limit such information at any time through your Account settings.
4.3 Legal Compliance and Protection
We may disclose your information without prior notice if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to: (a) comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request; (b) enforce this Policy or our Terms and Conditions; (c) detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues; or (d) protect the rights, property, or safety of Oromoon, our Users, or the public. In such cases, we may raise or waive any legal objection or right available to us.
4.4 Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of all or a portion of our assets, financing, or insolvency proceeding involving Oromoon, Inc., your information may be transferred as part of such transaction. We will notify you via email or prominent notice on the Platform prior to any such transfer and change in privacy practices, where practicable.
4.5 Aggregated and De-Identified Data
We may share aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized data that cannot reasonably be used to identify you with third parties for industry analysis, research, or demographic purposes.
4.6 With Your Consent
We may share your information with third parties when you have provided explicit, affirmative consent to do so.
Consistent with our disclosures on the Apple App Store, data collected for analytics, product personalization, app functionality, and other operational purposes is not linked to your personal identity. We implement technical measures designed to prevent the association of usage and diagnostic data with identifiable individuals.
We retain your personal information for as long as your Account remains active or as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy. Upon deletion of your Account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within thirty (30) days, subject to the following exceptions:
Third-Party Profile data you have entered via Star Files will be deleted upon deletion of your Account. Backup copies of deleted data may persist for up to thirty (30) days before permanent deletion.
Oromoon implements commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction, including encrypted data transmission and access-controlled server infrastructure.
NOTWITHSTANDING THE FOREGOING, NO METHOD OF TRANSMISSION OVER THE INTERNET OR ELECTRONIC STORAGE IS COMPLETELY SECURE. OROMOON EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO THE SECURITY OF YOUR INFORMATION, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY AGAINST UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, DATA LOSS, DATA BREACH, OR UNAUTHORIZED DISCLOSURE. YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM AND SUBMISSION OF INFORMATION THERETO IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
8.1 Account Information
You may access, review, and update your Registration Information at any time by logging into your Account and navigating to Settings.
8.2 Account Deletion
You may permanently delete your Account at any time through the Platform. Please note that information you have previously shared with other Users or that appears in other Users' Star Files is outside our control and may remain visible to those Users.
8.3 Geolocation
You may enable or disable the Platform's access to your device's precise geolocation at any time through your device settings (Settings → Privacy → Location Services → Oromoon). Disabling geolocation may limit functionality including the Getaway feature.
8.4 Marketing Communications
You may opt out of promotional communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in any marketing email or by contacting us at support@oromoon.com. You may continue to receive transactional or Account-related communications.
8.5 In-App Purchases
In-app purchase management is handled through your Apple App Store account settings. Refunds are subject to Apple's App Store refund policies.
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the CCPA/CPRA:

California's Shine the Light law (Civil Code § 1798.83) permits California residents to request information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, contact us at support@oromoon.com.
Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Montana, Oregon, and other states with applicable consumer privacy legislation may have rights including access, correction, deletion, portability, and opt-out of certain processing of personal information. The Platform is rated 18+ and is intended solely for Users who are eighteen (18) years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, contact us immediately at support@oromoon.com and we will take prompt steps to delete such information and terminate any associated Account.
The Platform is available in select countries globally, including but not limited to the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and member states of the European Union and European Economic Area. The Platform is operated from servers located in the United States. If you access the Platform from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. By using the Platform, you expressly consent to such transfer and processing.
European Union and EEA Users (GDPR): If you are located in the EU or EEA, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") including the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. Where we process your personal data, we do so on the basis of your consent, the performance of a contract with you, or our legitimate interests as described in this Policy. Canadian Users (PIPEDA): If you are located in Canada, your personal information is governed by the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act ("PIPEDA") and applicable provincial privacy laws. United Kingdom Users (UK GDPR): If you are located in the United Kingdom, the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 apply to our processing of your personal information. The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, applications, or services not operated by Oromoon. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the privacy practices, content, or security of any third-party services. We strongly encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you engage with.

These analyses are generated algorithmically and are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only. They do not constitute professional advice — financial, psychological, medical, or otherwise. Oromoon makes no representations regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of any automated analysis generated through the Platform.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OROMOON'S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THIS POLICY, INCLUDING IN CONNECTION WITH ANY DATA BREACH, UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, OR DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION, SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID TO OROMOON IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM; OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00 USD). IN NO EVENT SHALL OROMOON BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THIS POLICY OR YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.
ANY DISPUTE, CLAIM, OR CONTROVERSY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THIS POLICY, OR THE COLLECTION, USE, RETENTION, OR DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION, SHALL BE RESOLVED EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH FINAL AND BINDING INDIVIDUAL ARBITRATION ADMINISTERED BY THE AMERICAN ARBITRATION ASSOCIATION ("AAA") UNDER ITS CONSUMER ARBITRATION RULES, RATHER THAN IN COURT, EXCEPT AS PROVIDED BELOW.
ARBITRATION SHALL TAKE PLACE IN NEW YORK COUNTY, NEW YORK, OR, AT YOUR ELECTION FOR CLAIMS UNDER $10,000, VIA WRITTEN OR TELEPHONIC PROCEEDINGS. THE AAA'S CONSUMER ARBITRATION RULES ARE AVAILABLE AT WWW.ADR.ORG.
CLASS ACTION WAIVER: YOU AND OROMOON EACH EXPRESSLY WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION, CLASS ARBITRATION, CONSOLIDATED PROCEEDING, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. ALL CLAIMS MUST BE BROUGHT IN YOUR INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. THE ARBITRATOR MAY NOT CONSOLIDATE MORE THAN ONE PERSON'S CLAIMS AND MAY NOT PRESIDE OVER ANY FORM OF REPRESENTATIVE OR CLASS PROCEEDING.
JURY TRIAL WAIVER: YOU AND OROMOON EACH WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A TRIAL BY JURY WITH RESPECT TO ANY DISPUTE SUBJECT TO THIS SECTION.
Exceptions: This Section does not apply to: (a) claims that qualify for small claims court; (b) requests for injunctive or other equitable relief to protect intellectual property rights; or (c) claims that applicable law expressly requires to be resolved through a different process.
If any portion of this Section is found unenforceable, the unenforceable portion shall be severed and the remaining arbitration terms shall remain in full force and effect, except that if the class action waiver is found unenforceable, this entire Section shall be null and void.
This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware with respect to corporate matters, and the laws of the State of New York with respect to all other matters arising out of or relating to this Policy, in each case without regard to conflict of laws principles. To the extent any dispute is not subject to arbitration under Section 17, the parties irrevocably consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in New York County, New York, and waive any objection based on improper venue or inconvenient forum.
We reserve the right to update or modify this Policy at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email to the address associated with your Account or by posting a prominent notice on the Platform no less than thirty (30) days prior to the change becoming effective, where practicable. Your continued use of the Platform following the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
